Pass Through Units

BREC Pass Through Units (PTU’s) are designed and manufactured to compliment the range of BREC security windows. All PTU’s are bullet resistant to the required standards and are manufactured from API Ballistic Steel and finished with a satin polished stainless steel fascia. Four (4) standard sizes are manufactured and customised PTU’s can also be designed and built to suit specific client requirements.

Type 1

BREC specially moulded composite insert tray, which allows cash or items up to 25mm in thickness to be passed beneath the window. The design prevents any threat to staff by deflecting weapons or projectiles down into the ballistic barrier.

Type 2

The unit incorporates the BREC insert tray as supplied in the Type 1 PTU. Additionally, for the transfer of larger items, the insert tray slides to give access to the bulk transfer unit. Once an item has been placed into the transfer unit, the insert tray is returned back to its original position. This allows the item to be removed from the transfer unit without fear of attack.

Type 3

The sides and base of the unit are presented in raw timber for the client’s own paint finish. This PTU is designed for the secure transfer of cash till trays or larger items. The bulk tray is accessed by lifting a Perspex flap on either side of the unit. The interior flap is fitted with a key lock for security.

Type 4

The sides and base of the unit are presented in raw timber for the client’s own paint finish. Operation is identical to the Type 2 PTU. A larger bulk tray is capable of accepting full size cash till units while maintaining completely secure transfers.
